What a surprise, the Lliberals tell lies and we Brent residents are left to pick up the pieces left behind after their period of despotic administration. We all understand the error of the electorate for turning from Labour when they through dissolution with Labour that it turned to the Libs for a change. We are seeing loads of broken promises but the loss to our communities of the things we take for granted, that make living in Brent tolerable . Just look at the fiasco at Roundwood park, What are the Liberals playing at there, they have completely misjudged local sentiment over the cafe and the demolition of some beautiful old buildings in Brent, to be replaced with souless rubbish, the old courthouse in Harlesden, the old vicarage at neasden lane, to name just a few, now we are to lose the old house in the middle of the roundabout in harlesden, and as we are losing our police station too, I suspect that ,that
building will not be left standing for long after they vacate.

We are tired and fed up of this complete mess created by the Liberals.
I hope that Dawn butler can win in central Brent and get rid of Ms Teather, and let's get Labour back in power in Brent, although they could do with a new leader, as the current one is myred in scandal and her reputation is seriously tarnished. Francis Brent London

What I find is funny , that the officers in Brent council are working against the administration and the libs are too stupid to understand that. Most of the officers owe their loyalty to the Labour group and are getting Brent involved in a series of high profile issues and cases without the administration smelling a rat. When we look back at their council management it will be a rude awakening of the problems they have been landed in. It seems that Paul Lorber is afraid of making decisions and the officers are running the asylum. Oh the joys of Brent party politics. You couldn't make it up. George Brent

Is it my imagination or has Brent become littered with Parking meters everywhere, this revenue generator for the council has nothing to do with parking and everything to do with raising money.
You cannot go to the shops or to a local park even without having to pay through the nose for parking, and those with limited movement, who are not eligible under Brent councils horrendous Blue badge criteria are bearing the brunt, let alone, the mothers with a couple of kids bikes prams and a dog on the way to the park to play and get themselves fit, one of the recent targets for beating obesity in children.
Well as usual, Brent lags behind current thinking and puts a charge of £6.00 for two hours parking outside our local park, and, penalizes people who already pay the horrendous council taxes imposed upon use by the Liberal loonies and now we cannot even go anywhere in Brent with it costing us a fortune.
Lord only knows how that little cafe in the park is surviving when all its customers are penalized with the heaviest parking charges outside the west end. Somebody has to love the Liberals, I just don't happen to be one of them. Ron, Kensal Green
