Black MPs
Incidentally, isn't it sad that Dawn Butler's defeat means that Brent no longer has a black MP for the first time in more than twenty years?

What does her skin colour have to do with her abilities as an MP? Are you implying the only reason she was a good MP was because of her skin colour? or that past MPs for Brent where only effective cus their skin colour helped Labour with their minority statistics? Had she been defeated by a man would you be moaning about the fact that there wasn't a woman representing Brent central? A persons gender, sexual orientation, or race should not make a difference, their actions should speak for them.
