Willesden Green Cultural Centre Plans
Galliford Try have put in their planning proposal for the Willesden Green Library redevelopment. Full details are here. The plans have changed somewhast from the original.
The plans haven't changed anything substantial since January. Against widespread opposition from local residents and despite so-called 'consultation' Willesden Green is getting a smaller library, the disappearance of a community bookshop and a historic landmark, and a reduction of public space. The Council will be getting new office and the developers profits from 95 luxury flats.
