The new Civic Centre is progressing well. It is key not just to financial savings for the Council, but also a massive improvement in our environmental performance, a boost to regeneration in Wembley, and a more efficient Council organisation. It will also mean us opening a new library vastly superior to the existing one in Brent Town Hall.

It is a long way to walk for me! Bring back Neasden Library!
I can't believe you've closed so many local libraries to end up with this monstrosity. Are you a Wembley councillor? Where was our local voice in all this?
And how can it POSSIBLY save money to close local buildings, spend a fortune on this white elephant, and then have the environmental cost of all the increased transportation?
Do you not understand or follow the decade-long drive toward localization of goods and services. Shame.
