An interesting if rather long piece on the
planning of traffic signals in the Guardian. In theory, Brent Council is now committed to the
Road User Hierarchy putting pedestrians at the top and private cars last, but I am not always sure that it works that way in practice. Certainly there are parts of Kensal Green, such as the traffic light by Furness Park or at the bottom of Tubbs Road, which seem to put cars first.
